Ours is a small hobby kennel dedicated to breeding quality, not quantity. Since our breeding program consist of only two girls, we pay individual attention to each dog and we place a huge emphasis on health, temperament, working abilities, and genetics. Each one of our selective breedings is carefully thought out. Both of our girls participate in many canine activities since we do more than just talk about working abilities - we prove it. A short biography on Nyssa and Amy follows. All of our puppies are raised indoors, extensively socialized and have lifetime money back guarantee on both temperament and health. We also keep in touch with all the puppy buyers.

Nyssa was born in Kentucky on March 1, 1997. She comes from mostly the Kari line which is known for producing super intelligent dogs with fantastic movements, a great trainability, and protective yet gentle temperaments. Just like her parents, her temperament is soft medium. That means just the right blend of friendliness, intelligence, self-confidence, and trainability. She has earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate at the age of 5.5 months. Nyssa now has Companion Dog obedience title. The first leg was taken in our first ever obedience competition by taking High in Trial at the ARBA Cherry Blossom Classic in Washington, DC in April 1999. Because of her great attitude, we are also working towards agility and tracking titles. In addition, Nyssa is my certified operational canine search and rescue partner.

Her pedigree includes 6 champions, 2 champion pointed dogs, and one National Select Shiloh Shepherd - her mom. She herself finished her breed championship and additionally earned the IABCA National Champion title. MAW factor does not appear in her bloodlines.

Being a Shiloh Shepherd means an impeccable genetic background. Nyssa has PennHIP certification (R.37/L.37, age 30 months), Orthopedic Foundation for Animals hip (good, age 30 months, SLH-67G30F-T) and elbows (normal, age 30 months, SLH-EL17-T) certification, annual Canine Eye Registry Foundation eye defect clearance, and congenital heart defect clearance by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (age 24 months, SLH-CA1/24F/C-T). In addition, she has been tested and cleared for thyroid and pancreatic insufficiency through Dr. Jean Dodds' laboratory. Furthermore, Nyssa had normal complete bloodwork and ECG. To maximize her potential, she is also being raised holistically. See the puppy page for detailed info.

Nyssa had an exceptional litter on August 9th, 2000. There were 4 boys and 4 girls, 4 sables and 4 duals. All pups are doing fabulous. A detailed report is being worked on. I have kept a pick girl nicknamed Amy. Her full name is Amphissa Maxima which means "double strength" in Greek. This puppy had a flawless conformation and excellent working temperament on her litter evaluation, thus her name. Amy is training in search and rescue, obedience, and  started agility class in mid June. She already won Best in Show puppy in April 2001 when she was 8 months old and got her Canine Good Citizen certificate less then month later. She also had her preliminary hip xrays and they look very promising. This girl has it all and is fully expected to follow and perhaps surpass her wonderful mom.
Check out our puppy page for detailed progress of each one of the pups.
